Hi, I’m Destinee. I’m a little dressed up today because I want to mark an occasion. Recently my channel hit YouTube Partner; however, this is not the occasion I wish to mark. For those of you who already have Partner channels, you know that – especially first starting – you just aren’t earning much of anything. I have a day job, and I’m not about to quit. Anyway, what is significant about this Partnership is that YouTube has given my page a banner to use to advertise my channel. Instead, I’m giving that banner space to help advertise *your* channel. As of this video, I’ve already changed my banner including 11 videos from friends of mine within the community – people who have interacted with me a lot over the growth of my channel. I realize that I am very fortunate and lucky that I have some great friends who have helped me get to this point. Way in the beginning of my channel, X4CTO gave me my first shoutout. I still remember how honored and excited I was. Recently, theARMORYchannel also gave my channel a shoutout, and I’ve also had the incredible opportunity to work on some collaboration projects with hickok45, and that has helped the dissemination of my videos across the internet. So, I want to use my Partnership banner to help give back to the community that has recognized me. Now, I don’t think I’m any kind of YouTube heavy weight or big shot with a subscriber base in 5, 6, or 7 digits. But, I do have enough of a base to let you know I’m serious about giving back. I know it’s hard to get your content out there. YouTube is a saturated market with tens of thousands of other channels out there, making videos. Anyone with a cell phone or a camera can throw up a vid on YouTube. If you want to have your vids stand out in the sea of content, it’s tough. How I want to help you with that is to take your video responses to any of my videos and feature their links in my banner. How often I rotate these will depend on the kind of response I get. If I’m inundated with video response requests, I’ll update the banner regularly. However, if the response is more trickling, I’ll likely leave the banner longer. Now, this isn’t an original idea. I’m borrowing from AtheneWins and his Together to the Top initiative. You can check out his channel through the link in the video. Now, you know from the title that I’m going to include a Gun Bimbo. I was just flooded with requests to see more of her… well, I will have a gun bimbo, but with a little twist (as is usual for my channel haha). I’m going to draw one in charcoal. Hope you like it

So often in life we fail to give. We fail to follow through. We fail to give of ourselves to others and to ourselves. When we fail to give something is lost in the world. There is a void. The Medicine Man I studied with always used to say that out of all the things in the world, that nothing made the Heart happier than giving a gift. Life is a gift and so are we. So start acting like it and start giving. Because in life what you give you get to keep forever and what you fail to give you lose forever.
