It is “random acts of kindness” season. Why?
It’s now November and the holidays are just around the corner. I saw a TV commercial for an insurance company, which I won’t name, about doing good deeds. I’m sure you know the one I am talking about, one person helps a second person while a third person watches. Then this person helps another and on an on it goes, each person doing a small random act of kindness, a good deed, while someone watches, repeating the never ending process.
Doing a nice thing, a random act of kindness, a good deed is contagious. Doing a kind deed for someone else makes you feel good, and this is what the Pirate Lifestyle is all about, being happy.
Remember, when you give, you get.
Call it karma, or paying it forward, or good deeds, or random acts of kindness, whatever you call it, it is about being aware of the people around you and doing small things to make people smile, and mostly…making you smile.
