I like this girl and she likes me but we’re not going out. When we text she always asks me if I have a Valentine yet and I always say no and so does she. So I want to get her something but I’m not sure what. I was thinking of getting her a little heart shaped box of chocolates with a little bear. If I do get her that should just give it to her by itself or in like a little gift bag? If I shouldn’t get her that what should I get her? I have $15 to my name. I’m 16 and in high school. She would absolutely live chocolate and a bear. Something that might be a little more inexpensive would be to download some awesome songs onto a cd, and make a little bear holding it and give it to her that way. Just a suggestion.

My body keeps waking up after only few hours of sleep and then I can’t sleep?
I have kind of a long story…but it’s all the details of what have been happening lately incase it could help someone give me an answer and I really appreciate it if you can.
I was on a really bad sleep schedule (completely opposite of most people) going to bed at 9-10am and waking up at 4-5pm. I wanted to fix it one day so I forced myself to wake up (even though extremely tired) after only a few hours of sleep. I had gone to bed at around 10:30 am and woke up at about 2:30 pm. I took a walk in the sun and got exercise that day thinking that would help me sleep through the night and I thought I’d be so tired that night that I’d sleep like a baby. Well I went to bed that night and to my surprise I woke up after about 3 hours of sleep and could not fall back asleep until noon and I slept until 4pm at that time (4 hrs). So total that day I got 7 hours of sleep. So that night I went to sleep around the same time as the night before (1:30am) and woke up at 4am after only 2 1/2 hours of sleep this time. When I woke up, I absolutely could not fall asleep again…so this time I tried getting up, listening to music, reading, showering, etc. Nothing worked. I finally got maybe a few minutes of shut eye around 2:30pm that day and then I forced myself to stay awake to go to bed around the same time as the previous two nights. So I stayed up until around midnight or 12:30 and woke up at 4:30am. It’s now 5:19 am and I’m on here trying to hopefully make myself tired enough to fall back asleep. Even though my body feels tired, it’s almost impossible for me to make myself sleep again unless I go the whole day without sleeping.
My concern is that my body will never want to sleep more than 3-4 hours at a time again. I don’t think that’s very healthy at all…I’m a person who usually sleeps 8-9 hours a day and I want that back. Is what I’m experiencing normal when trying to change a sleep cycle? Will my body eventually sleep at least 6 hours without fully waking up?
Thanks if you can help me..I’ve done drastic changes to my sleep schedule before but never had this problem where I’d wake up after a few hours and then couldn’t sleep so I’m worried.
Update: So a few hours later I somehow nodded off to sleep and slept until 2pm. I was happy about that and thought everything was fixed. I drank some chamomile tea at about midnight and watched tv which usually always makes me fall asleep and at around 1:30am today I fell asleep easily but unfortunately woke up after only about 1 hour of sleep. I laid in bed for an hour trying to sleep again, but no luck so now I’m awake. I’m hoping my sleep schedule is still adjusting but my biggest fear is that I have insomnia and it won’t ever go away.
I have always had anxiety and I’ve always had a messed up sleep schedule that changes all the time but never had a problem falling asleep and NEVER had a problem waking up after 1-3 hours every night. I’ve always been able to sleep 7+ hours even with an inconsistent schedule. I also don’t want to take meds…I hate meds and don’t want to get addicted. So I’m praying I’ll go back to normal but right now this is just depressing and frustrating 
Is there something in your life that might be causing you to stay awake? Like relationship problems or financial or life circumstances? It seems to me that you have the entire day, everyday to be able to work at trying to fix your sleep patterns. Or the opposite might be true. I remember when I first started my new job, I was thinking so much about my work because it was so exciting and new that I only slept 5-6 hours a night but was still energetic during the day and I usually love 8-9 hours of sleep.
As work got more and more stressed, I got more emotionally drained and started to sleep longer until recently, even 12 hours of sleep could not replenish my system.
Find out when you are most awake and stay awake until you get so tired you need to fall asleep and try not to worry about when it is you are supposed to wake up. Your body will then find a natural way of sorting its sleep patterns out. Try drinking some camomile tea before going to sleep (I personally don’t like the stuff but it helps)… then just before you sleep, try the tiger in the woods ‘game’. Pretend you are the tiger and every time you see a thought pop into your head, imagine that you are the tiger and gobble it up before it can become a thought. Soon you will fall asleep… as often, it is our thoughts and stresses that keep us from having a good sleep.

I am 21 and he is 22. This is my first valentines day with a boyfriend. I have bleached my hair tons of times. It will burn if it gets on your scalp which in some cases are inevitable. The burning will go away so just think about that. It is most likely going to turn brassy so you will need a toner to help take those out i used i think a volume 10 with violet tones in it and you can also use a purple shampoo. Hope this helps
